About Us
Rooted in Manistee. Growing with You.
Jackpine Business Center has been a trusted part of the Manistee community since 1977, when Lee, Jon, and Jeff Trucks opened a small quick-print shop on River Street. What began as a humble printing business quickly grew to meet the evolving needs of local businesses and residents. By 1981, Jackpine expanded to its current location, adding office supplies and furniture to its offerings.

Over the decades, Jackpine has continued to adapt and grow — embracing technology and expanding services to include computer sales and repair, printing and design, and full-service website hosting and support. Today, we proudly serve customers across Manistee and surrounding counties, offering a one-stop solution for office supplies, tech support, and creative services.

Though much has changed, our commitment to quality, service, and community remains the same. Jackpine is more than a business center — it’s a local staple, a place where relationships matter, and where businesses and individuals alike find the tools and support they need to thrive.

WHO IS JACK PINE?

Actually... who was? Jack Pine was a lumberjack, contemporaneous with Paul Bunyan. He was a scrawny, scruffy, ugly and indestructible reprobate whose greatest achievement in life was survival. He endured through a combination of cunning, tenacity and sheer cussedness and when he died his brother lumberjacks buried him in the sand on a cut-over section between two white pine stumps.
Legend has it that what we now know as Jack Pines grew from his grave site and spread throughout North America where they can still be found...scrawny, scruffy, ugly and growing where no other trees want to grow.
