Jackpine Internet Services (hereinafter referred to as Jackpine) offers a wide range of services to be able to meet the demands of each and every user. We encourage our customers to use the "Instant Pay" plan when selecting your desired service. The Mail/News, Basic and Standard services include an automatic disconnect if no activity is detected for 20 minutes. All accounts include up to 1Mb of E-mail storage and 2.5 Mb of user storage. If more storage is required, please contact Jackpine Basic and Extended services include a sample home page area. Pricing effective January 1, 2002Economy Service 20 hours per month, 1 email account, personal web space.
Basic Service 40 hours per month, 1 email account, and personal web space
Unlimited Service: No Time Limit, 12 hour cut off, 1 email account and personal web space.
Premium Services: 2 email accounts, personal web space as well as virus & junk mail filtering.
POP Mail Accounts are available for family members or business associates Jackpine's dial up customers. These POP accounts give your family members or business associates their personal E-mail address and mail box which can be accessed from your connection. They get their own password and E-mail storage allocation as well.
Normal hourly allowances and charges apply to your Basic Service account. Inactive Account status is available for $2.50 per month. If you go away for the winter, this may be for you. Your email address remains open and can be accessed from anywhere on the internet . Simply call us when you come back and your account will be reactivated with no activation fee. Basic Business Service includes mail, news world wide web, unlimited hours per month, 10 mail accounts, domain name registration and home page hosting. This service is designed for the larger business that has a number of people who need access to mail and other features and the business which want a distinctive presence.
Residential DSL coexists on your regular phone line so that you can access the internet and talk on the phone at the same time. Upload speeds are 128K and download speeds are 1.5Mbps, 30 to 50 times faster than dial up. DSL is not offered in all locations and is somewhat distance constrained. Check with us to see if it is available in your area.

Domain Name Registration Jackpine will setup a top level domain for you, including MX mail forwarding, for a one-time fee of $15.95, changes will be subject to a $15.00 fee. Individuals or businesses must maintain at least a dial up or web page account with Jackpine Internet Services will be charged a monthly fee for mail forwarding. Domain Hosting Jackpine will host a domain whether or not the customer has an account with Jackpine Internet Services. The charge is $10.00 per month. (Domain Hosting is include with the Basic Business Service.) World Wide Web Page Development Jackpine can create a World Wide Web presence for your business or organization according to your specifications using existing artwork, such as brochures, catalogs or letterhead. If artwork is not available, we can create it. Web Page creation and editing is billed at $45.00 per hour or we have several packages to choose from. You can use your own software, (Any internet browser/mail program will
work.) or we can provide you with a preprogrammed CD for no
charge at the time of activation that includes support for
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000Windows NT, abd Windows
XP. Support Each account includes 1 hour of free telephone support for configuration and setup. In-shop Internet Set-Up is $16.50 and On-Site setup is $32.95 Internet setup does not include solving other problems that may exist on your system.) We do not guarantee any particular connection speed from your location. We have found that telephone line conditions vary and that some locations cannot achieve the maximum that their modem will support. Modems We support all standard PC Modems and ISDN Terminal Adapters, but do not guarantee the functionality of your modem.
